2019 Wild Ducks Cards

Challenge: In the second year of the IBM Wild Ducks card deck project, I was lucky enough to be selected to contribute the Jack of Spades! Each designer’s illustration was to include either a reference to your suit, number, or both.

Contribution: I decided to incorporate the ultra trendy & (vaguely) spade-shaped Monstera leaf! It’s basically a millennial requirement to have a bunch of Instagrammable plants in your apartment and recently I’ve noticed a ton of merch out there about being a “Plant Mom”– so here’s a Madonna & child style shoutout to all my fellow ~ plant moms ~ out there!

2018 Poster Design Challenge

Challenge: Bring a design thinking mantra to life for an 18x24" poster which pulls from IBM's heritage and current visual language.

Contribution: I was one of four winners!! My poster will be printed and displayed in IBM Design Studios across the globe and will also be featured in IBM's new Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator badge course.

2018 Sticker Exchange

Challenge: Create a sticker design for the selected theme, Good Vibes Only.

Contribution: To me, the best vibes are chill hygge vibes so I decided to illustrate a comfy cozy girl reading and drinking some tea.

2017 Chainletter

Challenge: Starting with the letter A, a designer from an IBM Design Studio would pass along the challenge to design the next letter of the alphabet to a colleague in another studio.

Contribution: I received an invite to participate in the Chainletter project for the letter V by a colleague in Austin, TX and passed the assignment along to a member of the RTP design studio in North Carolina.
